On our fist visit to Victoria, we ate at the Shanghai Chinese restaurant which had very good quality food and reasonable prices. Would recommend. However Chinatown itself was very quiet and there were very few restaurants open on a Saturday night.

Having seen many Chinatown's in the world this was small and offered nothing different. Only go if you are in the area, but not worth making a special trip.

A lot of history here, as well as some cool shops, and yummy places to eat. It is on my list to come back and spend another day wandering around.

The place we stayed while in Victoria was located in Chinatown and we really liked it. The neighborhood felt very safe and there were a lot of restaurants and shops to choose from.

This is really a small Chinatown. I enjoyed the décor of the neighborhood but there isn't that much of an atmosphere. Maybe it has a lot to do with the fact that there are more white people in Chinatown then there are Asians. I didn't...More
