This is one of the best means of transportation in Vancouver. Good price, and good mean visit and see the city especially in winter when it's often raining.

I wasn't sure how hard it would be to navigate the train system, but it ended up being fairly easy. There is a concourse with kiosks not to far from where you get your luggage. Buying a ticket was easy and the train was clean.

Coming from the airport to downtown- take the Skytrain- no issues - less than $8 a person. Talk to my he information booth at the airport and you'll be given a very valuable map!

Are used always take a taxi from downtown Vancouver to the airport. Now short walk from virtually any place downtown takes you to the Canada line skytrain station. 22 minutes later you arrive at the airport, all for a cost of $4.75. It really is a great way to travel in Vancouver.

On at the airport, off at waterfront. Clean, safe. Easy as. Some people had trouble using a credit card to buy the ticket from the machine. I used cash and was on the train and on my way 20 min after getting my luggage

We purchased a day pass on the SkyTrain that can be used on the buses and ferries around the city. We boarded the train near the Amtrak Station. We arrived in Vancouver aboard Amtrak from Seattle. We took the train one stop to the Chinatown Stadium Station. The trains run about every five minutes during the day. We walked about... More

If coming in from the airport (YVR), take the skytrain to downtown. You need to purchase a 2 zone ticket, cost is 9.00 into the city and only 4.00 return to airport. Tickets are valid for on and off trips for 90 minutes from purchase...keep that in mind.

Staying in Yaletown & False Creek North

Neighbourhood Profile
Yaletown & False Creek North
Yaletown has risen from the ashes of its rough-and-tumble industrial past into one of Vancouver's new chicest neighbourhoods. The place responsible for originating of the phrase 'skid row' might not call to mind independently-owned boutiques and terraced cafes, but having swallowed the waterfront lines of False Creek North, the resulting amalgamation transformed the area into an elegant, stylish hotspot with a view. Its youthful vibe owes to the many young families and young professionals who live there, bolstering nightlife and restaurant variety along its cobbled streets. It is the flagship neighbourhood for modern revitalization, and the It-Spot for boutique hotels and modish eats.
