The Skytrain from Airport to Harbour Front takes about 30 minutes and is safe, fast reliable service to get into downtown. Harbour Front station located with easy walking of hotels and is main hub for other lines and Seamus.

Returned to BC after very long period away and was amazed to see the Skytrain. What a difference from catching the bus from Richmond to go downtown. This is a fantastic addition to the Vancouver experience and not expensive. Think they were just about to open new line out east to Port Moody. I remember travelling by bus for work... More

Nice and easy to use although can get busy at rush hour. Airport to down town really easy to get to main attractions and hotels. Down town to Port Moody great and probably much quicker and easier than fighting through the traffic. Used a few times and would recommend and use when in Vancouver in the future.

My friend and I did a long weekend downtown Vancouver and we decided to take the sky train instead of driving. It was a really good decision, we saved a ton of money and it was relaxing journey where we could just talk about what we were going to do for the weekend and not worry about the traffic.

I only need to take the Canada Line (there are other sky train lines too, just not got a chance to get on them) to get to places in Vancouver, Downtown, Richmond and Airport. Just watch out for the CAD$7.75 ticket (an extra CAD$5, on top of the regular 1-zone ticket fare of CAD$2.25) you need to pay when you... More

Didn't get a car this trip and used the SkyTrain to do Vancouver touristy things while visiting Burnaby. Directions to locations were easy to get to, payment for travel was easy. Travelling at rush hour is unbelievably busy (wasn't expecting it to be that crowded). The hum/squeal that the train makes when it's travelling is loud. I would recommend using... More

Great way to get from the airport to your downtown hotel. Easy to find, easy to use. Took us 20 minutes at $7.50 per person . We will use it again to get back to the airport .

I have been traveling to Vancouver for several years. It used to be such a hassle going downtown from the airport by car or cab. No Uber in Vancouver (that's another story) but taking a car downtown is just a mess. Since the SkyTrain the commute has been a very comfortable and predictable journey. Less than 30 minutes including waiting... More

Airport to downtown, take the Canada Line. Downtown to Metrotown take the Expo Line, Commercial Drive to Coquitlam take the Evergreen Line. A great way to see Vancouver without the pressures of driving. Stay away from the high volumes of rush hour and enjoy. As an extra take the Sea Bus to North Vancouver.

Park the car, put on your walking shoes or hiking boots, take public transit! Once I had my Compass Card I could go anywhere in the Lower Mainland. It was an eight minute ride from downtown Vancouver on the Cambie Line to Marine drive and a 5 minute bus ride to my neighbourhood. That would've been a 30 minute drive... More
