This spa has excellent amenities including a steam room, lounge, and an outdoor area with jacuzzi and infrared sauna. My only complain would be that when I visited and was trying to relax in the lounge, everyone was playing around on their cellphones. One woman and her friend actually watched a Youtube video on her phone. The spa's website states... More

RMT Carly was wonderful! I've been picky with my RMT's and sometime a bit uncomfortable, but she made the experience amazing! Great RMT and great customer service. I will defiantly recommend this spa to friends and co-workers

Having been to some exceptional spas including Arizona's Camelback Resort, Black Rock in Ucuelet and the Whistler Fairmont I was wondering how I missed this spa in my own backyard! My two tips BOOK EARLY and GO EARLY. My first visit was so exceptional I wanted to return with a friend but we had to wait 3 weeks to get... More

The reviews we read prior to arriving at Willow Stream Spa matched our experience. My husband and I received excellent massages that matched what we requested. My husband had the deep tissue massage that was painful but did the job :).

This is by far the BEST spa in Vancouver and I have been to almost all the high end ones. The only other spa I would recommend is the Chi Spa at the Shangri-La, the treatment rooms are beyond luxury but the Chi has no facilities to experience once you are done your treatment. The Willow Stream has the outdoor... More

We decided to do a spa afternoon at the Willow Stream. The ambience of the spa is perfect to decompress and destress. Beautiful spaces for both ladies and men, and an awesome co-ed space. Their attention to detail is spot on - relaxation areas, pagodas and a fire pit on the terrace, healthy snacks, teas and infused waters, infrared saunas,... More

you feel like you are in a totally different place. I love this spa it is gorgeous. It was raining outside at the time of my visit so I didn't use the hot tub outside but there were a few people enjoying it despite the weather.

Had an hour hot stone massage here, beautiful surroundings, very relaxing. Massage was divine but one thing spoiled it was I could hear the traffic outside while getting a massage so not as relaxing as it could have been.

I'm not sure what's up with spas in general but if they start late, why do they still end on time? Why would my massage be 10 minutes shorter because they started late? When I was here, one of the hot tubs was broken and the other one randomly started the foam. Also, until recently, it wasn't noted that the... More

Entering the spa's lobby boded well for what's to come--- quite, and uncrowded environment. Locker area was smallish but all the rest of the facilities more than made up for it: "zero-gravity" luxurious massage bed; en suite spa and shower (couple room); outdoor meditation area; spa; lounges, and; steam sauna. The best part --- as it should be --- was... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
