I thought it would be ideal in the rain but no. The buses can't cope, the rain is a torrent down the centre if the bus. The plastic Windows let in the rain. The seats are soaked. They rattle and you can't hear much. Some guides are better than others. The younger ones didn't care there was no where dry... More

Recently in Vancouver for a couple of days after spending time skiing in Canada. We planned a couple of days in Vancouver before flying back to Australia. It actually snowed lightly and rained most of the two days. Some other friends suggested using the Hop on Hop off trolly. We purchased a 2 day ticket and initially did the full... More

We decided to do this hop-on, hop-off bus on a cold day that included rain and snow flurries. We rode the bus as a way to see the city without being out in the weather as walkers. We had a chance to see areas outside of the downtown area, including Stanley Park. Because the busses run less frequently during the... More

I went on this tour despite living in Vancouver, to give a visiting friend an overview. It was quite cold despite us sitting under cover but we enjoyed hearing the narration and visiting all of the main sites as we sat and looked at the views. We stopped at all the major highlights which was great. She enjoyed her time... More

This was a good hop on hop off style tour but we have done better in other cities. Passes last for 24 hours so we took full advantage of this to get around the city. It was raining when we're did the tour and the retractable roof does leak a little. The bus was very noisy so was difficult to... More

The Hop-on-hop off bus is a good way to get an overview of the city. The Greyline offers a single loop which takes about 2 hours to cover The buses are single level open top buses. These are old style and the seats are not that comfortable. A full day ticket if $45 and offers stops at various locations throughout... More

As a visitor to a new city it can be a little daunting to find where the sights are and to orientate oneself. The advantage of this kind of tour is you can get off for a break or check out a special attraction. I think we paid $75 each which is expensive. It's probably worth it as the tour... More

I checked the website to see what the prices were for the Fun City Sightseeing Hop on Hop Off to take it so I could take photos of our beautiful city of Vancouver on a sunny day. I did not go on it, as I think it is too too expensive. I saw one city tour priced at $ 91.00... More

For the price not worth it...old bus and noisey, hard to hear narration. We were told its 1hr wait for next pick up if we got off...ended up at a stop just before 4pm and last bus had gone...in the end it felt like a $90 bus ride from westend to chinatown..i think they have more buses in other seasons... Staying in Gastown

Neighbourhood Profile
A visit to Gastown is like turning back the clock and stepping into a bygone era. With the distinction of being Vancouver's oldest neighborhood, the many plaques that stud the cobbled streets of Gastown tell the story of its colorful past, giving Vancouver's history a more lively presence here than anywhere else. Having been originally founded around a popular worker's saloon, it's no wonder that today some of Vancouver's best micro-breweries, creative cocktail joints, and corner bars can be found in this area. Classical charm suffuses its many vintage boutiques and the brick-built structures that an army of creative professionals call home.
