A great way to spend a chilly fall day in beautiful North Vancouver. Our knowledgable guide Fiscus Chan of all things BC, led us on a enchanted walk through the woods. We started with a quick info session where Fiscus introduced a few mushrooms and books that are a great resource to mushroom enthusiasts. As we walked through the forest... More

We showed up to the meeting spot and immediately our guide Erica welcomed us. She was warm and knowledgeable and easy to talk to and even brought along maps, books and tools of the trade which she kindly explained and lent out. The tour group was diverse at 11 adults and 2 kids and our time together was really great.... More

We were a group of about 20 UBC students hoping to learn how to forage for local mushrooms. The tour guides, Robin and Lisa were awesome! Friendly, professional, and very very knowledgable about the local environment. We learnt about how to identify different mushrooms, and the guides pointed out an unbelievable number of species. I had no idea there was... More

Really enjoyed our all day wine tour. Our guide was Wayne and he was very well knowledgeable about the wines and the areas we visited. Since he was from Vancouver also gave us some great information of other things to see while in Vancouver. The wineries were great got to sample lots of wines and of course we picked up... More

We toured around Langley with Genevieve. She was extremely knowledgeable about the wines and was a great tour guide. The wineries were all excellent and we enjoyed the day. The only criticism would be considering the value for money. When we added up the costs per person, and considered that in most places we purchased wines so that waived the... More

Glad you enjoyed our BC wine expert guide, Genevieve, she's amazing! Our tours are very intimate (under 6 guests on each tour), we pride ourselves on not being a bus tour and hire guides that are experts in their fields to really tailor the experience and learn about BC wine from the best possible source. With those notes in mind... More

Our team of 30 people met at UBC farm for a foraging workshop - hosted partly in a yurt and partly by way of walking around the farm and forest. The workshop was the perfect fit for our group (active, outdoorsy, mid-thirties and up) and was interesting, useful and applicable from the start. Robin was approachable and friendly and made... My husband and I signed up for the new year's evening dining experience with swallow tail culinary adventures. It was expensive but the chef really talked up the experience. The event was held in the basement of the chef's personal home. There were about 30+ people seated in the dank room. It was a little scary since a there was... More

So sorry that you didn't enjoy the food. There actually is a door that leads right outside from the wine cellar room the 20 guests were seated in, so I'm not sure why you were scared. Just to note, the meal was 6 courses. Our chefs and locations change for each pop-up restaurant that we create, so hopefully we can... More
