Had a good time at a Lions/Redblacks game. Easy to get to the stadium, great selection for concessions and pretty good options for team gear. Prices are average. If you are taking the Skytrain to a game or any event make sure you buy enough tickets for a return trip. Lineups are long afterwards!

Excellent well informed tour. You see a lot of the stadium you wouldn't usually and for a very low cost. A must for all sports fans!

A good stadium for an event or a show. Easily walkable and navigable with plenty of signage and restrooms. Nearby to tons of restaurants and bars and clubs and as well as it is on the transit lines but easily reached from the downtown hotels. ADA accessible.

Hello, and thank you for your great review. Thanks also for mentioning that our stadium is ADA Accessible - that was a major part of our revitalization in 2011 and it has proven to be a very important investment. We hope to see you back here soon! More

This was our first ever football game - coming from Scotland, you can imagine its very different. We watched the BC Lions play the Hamilton Tiger Cats and the atmosphere was electric. Great clean stadium, good beer and hotdogs!

Watched the BC Lions play Montreal. We had a lower priced seat in area C 229 which had a great view and good atmosphere especially with the drum line band playing behind us. Facilitys are very good with various drink and food outlets. Good washrooms and spacious concourse area. Our seat was $36 each which was ok for a first... More

Went to BC Place for my first ever game of CFL and cheered for the BC Lions. Great atmosphere and i love the TOUCHDOWN celebrations. They sure know how to create a fantastic game atmoshpere. Crowd numbers were a little low thought. One thing to remember if you are buying a beer and get the tall can of Stella you... More

Hi, and thanks for the great review. You make a great point about the limited purchase of tall cans. Unfortunately this is due to the licensing restrictions for the venue, but we hope this did not impact the overall experience at the game. We hope to see you back here soon for more touchdown celebrations! More

The energy at BC Place is electric when watching the BC Lions or the Whitecaps play. There is really no bad seats as all seats provide a great angle of the field.

When it was first being constructed in 1982, my dad took the family to the stadium open-house before the fabric roof was put on. It was indeed an impressive structure ( @ 60,000 seats) and one that was designed for multiple sports including the possibility of a future Major League Baseball team. The stadium opened in 1983 and became home... More

Staying in Yaletown & False Creek North

Neighbourhood Profile
Yaletown & False Creek North
Yaletown has risen from the ashes of its rough-and-tumble industrial past into one of Vancouver's new chicest neighbourhoods. The place responsible for originating of the phrase 'skid row' might not call to mind independently-owned boutiques and terraced cafes, but having swallowed the waterfront lines of False Creek North, the resulting amalgamation transformed the area into an elegant, stylish hotspot with a view. Its youthful vibe owes to the many young families and young professionals who live there, bolstering nightlife and restaurant variety along its cobbled streets. It is the flagship neighbourhood for modern revitalization, and the It-Spot for boutique hotels and modish eats.
