Excellent value for money! Only $12 per person. We spent just over an hour here. A very interesting museum, lots of hands on activities to take part with and nicely laid out. Loved seeing all the crime scene evidence.

Quite enjoyed the museum, and all that it had to offer. It was a little small, however the material was well displayed and very interesting. We got in half price by purchasing a Groupon. The third person in our group happen to be a senior...More

This used to be the coroner's court. Historical account of the Vancouver police and criminal development that has occurred during pass 100 years. The highlight is the true crime room with detailed reports and the autopsy facility. Can be morbid and definitely above 10 years...More

I went here with My Girlfriend. It was interesting. There were some interesting cases where You could read parts of the files. There was a display on drugs, gambling and illegal weapons. A interesting area where autopsies were done.

This is a wonderful spooky review of some rough times in Vancouver. The museum is the old morgue and much of it has been retained. The exhibits are nothing like i have seen anywhere else. A very interesting two hours. You have to walk into...More

LOVED IT. If you're a true crime fan, you won't be disappointed. The small museum is so packed with stuff that you'll likely spend a decent amount of time there. I kept going back to see things. The old morgue is amazing. The true crime...More

Through no fault of its own, this place gave me the creeps. The highlight is the former morgue and autopsy room, and there's just something about being in that room on a bright sunny day that made me feel as though all of the air...More

This museum is located next door to the major police station in downtown eastside. It is easily accessible by bus. However be aware that the immediate neighbourhood is quite an eye opener and to keep your wits about you. The museum contained a few rooms...More

You will be blown away with where it all started and how things went within the police compounds and the laws of the past. I’ve seen this museum 5 times and still find different facts of the past, each time I go there.

A visit to Gastown is like turning back the clock and
stepping into a bygone era. With the distinction of
being Vancouver's oldest neighborhood, the many
plaques that stud the cobbled streets of Gastown tell
the story of its colorful past, giving Vancouver's
history a more lively presence here than anywhere
else. Having been originally founded around a popular
worker's saloon, it's no wonder that today some of

Hi Glydel, Thank you for your question. As Claudia mentioned, any time of the year would be good. Some people prefer visiting winter time since you can stay dry inside of the museum, and it is quieter during winter (March... More
