This beach which is a decent walk from 4th Ave in Vancouver has lots to make it appealing including a good proximity to washrooms, restaurants and a museum. We enjoyed walking and exploring the crab life on the beach even in late October

This beach is lovely, and not far from all the amenities that your heart could desire. Tennis, sandhopping, pleasant stroll, frisbeeing, swimming, sunset watching, has it all. If you like semi-funky (leftovers from the 1970s), check this lovely treed beach out. And parking is still...More

Even being close to the downtown, this beach almost never is full of tourist. Instead, you can find many canadians there, a swimming pool close to the sea, many sports to practice and a beautiful view.

Great beach, good vibes. Can sometimes get pretty packed in summer but I like how it is less of a drive than it would be to spanish banks/jericho beach and you don't having to be in the downtown core like english bay, Plus gorgeous sunsets!

Vancouver is really awesome where whole nature is lying. Had great time at the beach where view was also nice. Sunset time is happening and nice. One can cycle it around as well.

buskers may be long-gone, but not without leaving
their mark on the number of organic restaurants and
fair-trade cafes in the area. At the centre of

expanse of Kits Beach offers the opportunity for a
