I love the art in this gallery but the service was poor. Followed us around like we were going to steal something. Little information about the pieces offered. So just left.

I have purchased several pieces of beautiful aboriginal art and silver hand made bracelets from this gallery in Gas Town, Vancouver. They have clients from all over the world. The pieces they carry in their gallery are beautiful, the service by the owner and staff is first class. I think they have an online catalog where you can view many pieces... More

I so enjoyed this gallery, and the woman who worked there was lovely and attentive. I'd have loved to purchase a number of works! Just a few steps away, and up, from the second Hop Off stop in Gastown.

This is an enjoyable gallery to stop and admire the Inuit artwork that they carry - beautiful sculptures, paintings and wall hangings, and jewelry. The price range varies from affordable to I need to win the lottery. I did buy some lovely silver earrings titled Eclipse from a Canadian artist who has lived and worked with the Inuit community. Definitely... More

This is one of the galleries I visit whenever I'm in Vancouver. There's a lot of quality Inuit carvings, but also generally a good selection of north west coast art, which is my passion. Well worth a visit.

If you are interested in art of native people (Haida, Tlingit, etc) this is a must-see gallery. Exhibitions change, so it's hard to say what you'll see when you get there, but the large Robert Davidson moon sculpture (white - and done in paper... hard to explain) was the first thing we saw and it was breath-taking. Not only do... More

A beautiful, open gallery filled with Inuit art in the Gastown area. Nicely displayed sculpture, handcrafts and jewelry with interesting pictures on the wall. This is the place to start in your search for native artistic creations. It will also be the place to finish up your shopping while in Vancouver because other stores can't match their selection.

They had many beautiful pictures. If you are looking to buy something very nice or just want to look it is well worth stopping by. They do have several affordable limited edition pictures and we couldn't resist buying one and would have loved to buy many more

For the west coast, one would expect a concentration on Haida art, which they have, but there is an extensive collection of Inuit art with many well recognized sculptors. The gallery is open; the exhibits are well spaced; and the offerings range from modestly priced items to five figures. I have been collecting Inuit art for 13 years and would... More

Staying in Gastown

Neighbourhood Profile
A visit to Gastown is like turning back the clock and stepping into a bygone era. With the distinction of being Vancouver's oldest neighborhood, the many plaques that stud the cobbled streets of Gastown tell the story of its colorful past, giving Vancouver's history a more lively presence here than anywhere else. Having been originally founded around a popular worker's saloon, it's no wonder that today some of Vancouver's best micro-breweries, creative cocktail joints, and corner bars can be found in this area. Classical charm suffuses its many vintage boutiques and the brick-built structures that an army of creative professionals call home.
