On a sunny day the crowds gather but that makes it more enjoyable since there is lots of room. There are a number of restaurants nearby should you get hungry.

A beautiful beach setting frequented by locals and tourists alike. Intermittently dotted with sculptures. We were glad to be there on a beautiful sunny day.

No surf here folks. Lots of families were out enjoying the sun and the waterpark nearby the beach. You will end up here or start here if you do the Seawall wander.

paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and
perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most
languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset
Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to
take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along
