I wasn’t expecting to run through Pacific Spirit Park, but my seawall jog got interrupted by a huge dark cloud and heavy rain. Although I love the sound of waves crashing, I could not see much with the strong precipitation. I sought refuge moving at...More

Don't shoot, but I think this park is even more amazing than Stanley Park. It's quiet, the paths are wide and fun to run on. Try to go on a rainy day to have the full on Vancouver experience!

I love to take my dog here it is quiet and clean and when the sun shines through the trees it is magical. Some trails are long and wind around. Make sure you know the trial you are on or you might get lost.

Nice clean trails, there are several options that could keep a walker/runner or avid hiker busy for days.

The trails are well maintained and clean of litter. Dog friendly as well as fellow walkers. Mostly families.

Easy street parking on 16th Avenue, well marked trails and very friendly dogs make this a primo hiking spot. No hills, no climbing, good for all ages and abilities.

Also, I really enjoyed the UBC Gardens, where the Farmers Market is held. The Sword Fern trail was great.

West Point Grey is one of the city’s oldest
neighbourhoods, especially known for its easygoing and
admired beachfronts. Locals crowd the Spanish Banks

sprawling view of the English Bay awaits. The central
village is an oasis of sovereign shops, many of them
in local operation for years. The neighbourhood has a
more personal feeling to it, and can be a wonderful
