It wasn't as big as I expected but it is still a great place to visit, whether it is with family or friends, or both. I have never seen so many jellyfishes in my life, and I enjoyed how the whole underwater exhibit was executed. I loved the 4D movie experience. I wish they could expand and put more and... More

Vancouver Aquarium is nicely hidden in Stanley Park. The aquarium is really ideal for families, but adults without kids can be satisfied as well. The inside offers interesting views at fishes and let you to discover different world. Recommended!

It was raining during our stay in Vancouver which made this the perfect activity to do. Plenty of different fish to see. The 4D experience wasn't bad either. Very family friendly

We are aquarium members and we visit the aquarium about once a month. When I was on maternity leave, we went once a week. That alone should tell you that the aquarium is a really great place to visit. If you have never been, allow 3 hours at least. There are scheduled demonstrations throughout the day and a 4D theatre... More

My two granddaughters took me to the Vancouver Aquarium and I couldn't help but compare it to when I took their Mom there some 30+ years ago. It has become a fantastic experience for folks of all ages. Everyone enjoys the killer whales splashing the crowds and the evident intelligence of the dolphins when doing their 'circus' like performances

Spent a couple of hours being entertained by the waterborne creatures and staff alike. Well worth a visit also worth the money considering the costs associated with keeping an Aquarium to such a high standard. We happily recommend this attraction especially to families

I am a member of the Aquarium and bringing my preschool aged kids is always a great visit. We've been visiting since they turned one years old and I can't say enough how it's contributed to their development and knowledge for marine life. I find this Aqaurium to be quite educational rather than an amusement park for human entertainment, even... More

Staying in Stanley Park

Neighbourhood Profile
Stanley Park
Stanley Park is Vancouver's premier spot to get up close and personal with nature and animals. The grassy expanse offers outdoor teahouses and stunning views, beachfront hideaways and splash parks. It is a typical getaway spot for friends and families, especially as it is home to Vancouver's aquarium, and some of its best equestrian outlets.
