There is a lot of hype, and some misleading promo photography to lure you to the aquarium in Vancouver. But don't expect to be looking at a shoal of manta rays flying overhead. You get a small touch pool containing small ray, and one or...More

Nice, informative visit with the family on a rainy afternoon. Very crowded though, especially during the shows. Kids loved touching the rays.

A great educational experience for all the family. So enjoyable. My children loved touching the rays and other animals in the hands on activities and the staff were very helpful and informative. A must do activity in Vancouver.

Stanley Park
Stanley Park is Vancouver's premier spot to get up
close and personal with nature and animals. The grassy
expanse offers outdoor teahouses and stunning views,
beachfront hideaways and splash parks. It is a typical
getaway spot for friends and families, especially as
it is home to Vancouver's aquarium, and some of its
best equestrian outlets.

Thanks for your replies. I think we'll drive to the Aquarium this time and save the sea bus/city bus adventure until he is older and I don't have so many things to carry.

Very small aquarium, and sadly the beluga whales which were the main attraction have passed away.
