The best point of vue of Vancouver's Waterfront

Great place, the building as the shape of a boat, it's roof looks like Sydney Opera. Several restaurants where you can eat and have a walk along the sea.

It has 5 flags and it lights up at night that looks pretty when you look at it from the Vancouver Lookout but other than that...its not something i would rave about.

We bought our tickets online and walked right in on a weekday. Zero wait time, very professionally run, and beautifully presented. We thought this experience easily rivaled the best Disneyland attraction, but right there in Vancouver! Wouldn't miss it - we will absolutely be back every year! You can even smell Mrs. Claus' baking as you fly over her North... More

My 11yr old daughter and I went to the show at Canada Place. They advertise it as a 25min "experience" because in the holding area they show another artistic movie of landscapes etc . The Fly over Canada movie is like the ride at disney Flying over California. You sit in seats in front of a huge movie screen. It's... More

Canada Place is THE place to visit in Vancoucer. The views are amazing, even in the rain or when the fog lies over the water. You will explore the views of the steamers, the container boats, the sails of the yachts and so on.

Went here for a Microsoft trade show & expo. Fun time with lots to see & do! We also got to walk next to the big cruise ships which was interesting.

This location has become a landmark on the waterfront! Well worth the visit to see what it has to offer or just go for a stroll around the waters edge. Only issue is the paid parking!

I walked around this complex and whilst it is pleasant place with lovely views of the harbour its main purpose is a commercial hub and dock. A number of 'Hop On, Hop Off' trolley bus tours depart from the key. Under pavement shopping malls are welcome on cold wet days. The historic area of Gastown is close by so you... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
