When I first visited, one of the clerks attempted to put me off joining, however, his colleague quickly kept my interest and made it very easy. I am glad she did, because there is such a good collection of books here. I also hired DVD boxsets.

I'm surprised with the crazy developers snatching any building they can to turn into apartments and condos that this place is still around. It's a great library with lots of resources.

Huge meeting rooms are available. Good food outlets (usual suspects but tasty) are in abundance along the interior walkway. If you are lucky and they are doing a movie shoot you may become a crowd extra - bonus

A wonderful library in a convenient location. Usual library to forage through. Great people watching from the seating outside; coffee close by and near Rogers Place and BC Place.

It's a lovey building which stands out from the other adjacent building. Being an architect myself, I was thrilled to visit one, designed by the celebrated architect- Moshe Safdie. It is a big library and while, we didn't really get to go through the books that it caters, we did get to see the system that makes the library so... More

They host workshops all year around, and they are very informative. Last year I was there for the immigrant job fair which was also very good resources for new immigrants.

I've never been to a library that includes a coffee shop, bank ATM, print services, or such cool architecture. I visited on a Sunday afternoon and not only was the library full of browsers people studying, the atrium and front steps/courtyard area was also full of people enjoying it.
