If you area driving you need to keep concentrating, as the lanes change priority throughout the day, but for all the passengers in the car you are going to get some amazing views

I can't say much about a bridge, but muct manage 100 words, so here goes. It is a suspension bridge, built I am told by the Guiness family for the city. A handsome engineering acheivement, it carries much traffic today.

We went over this a few times. One afternoon on the way to airport 4 lanes of traffic had to merge into one lane. Always allow yourself plenty of time

An ideal place for some nice pictures. Looks just the Golden Gate bridge in San Francesco, very accessible for all ages.

The Lions gate Bridge can be seen from many angles as you walk around Stanley Park. It is particularly impressive at sunset with the background of the mountains.

Lions Gate is one of those landmarks that make Vancouver.... Vancouver. Although the locals seem to despise the traffic on the three lane bridge I took a liking to it's history and beauty. The best views can be had from Stanley Park on the south...More

This is a must do - even if it's just to get the Snapchat filter! Such great views on this bridge! Make sure you're okay with heights cause it's a high bridge and sometimes traffic can be quite slow and busy on it.

Walked round Stanley Park then over the bridge. Viewing area on Stanley Park side with plenty of parking and a visitor centre being built.

Stanley Park
Stanley Park is Vancouver's premier spot to get up
close and personal with nature and animals. The grassy
expanse offers outdoor teahouses and stunning views,
beachfront hideaways and splash parks. It is a typical
getaway spot for friends and families, especially as
it is home to Vancouver's aquarium, and some of its
best equestrian outlets.

Hello, We are staying in downtown Vancouver and wondered how to get to Lion's Gate bridge. We hope to walk across it. The last time we visited your beautiful city, we came close to it by walking through Stanley Park but didn't quite make it to the bridge. We would like to use public transportation, if possible. Thanks.

As another reviewer has suggested, if you definitely want to take public transit, you might do better to ride to West Vancouver and walk back south on the bridge rather than walking north on the bridge. There are several... More
