Downtown Vancouver's public gallery named after acclaimed Haida artist Bill Reid. The Gallery is home to the Simon Fraser University Bill Reid Collection and special exhibitions of contemporary Aboriginal Art of the Northwest Coast. Highlights include Bill Reid's stunning gold and silver jewelry, monumental sculptures and a towering totem pole by James Hart of Haida Gwaii. Visit the Gallery Shop, a source for Northwest Coast gifts, including carefully selected works of original art, finely crafted jewelry, and uniquely designed accessories and giftware. Inspired by the Gallery's exhibitions, featured pieces are authentic and indigenous. All purchases in the Gallery Shop support contemporary Northwest Coast artists. Located in the heart of downtown, just steps from the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, Pacific Centre Mall and Canada Line Skytrain City Centre Station.

Wonderful carvings, jewelry and more! We spent about 3 hours here, but it can be done for less. If you are fan of Inuit/Native American art, this place is a must. We learned much and saw many pieces of beautiful artwork!

This gallery was recommended by the shuttle bus driver (from Capilano) and I'm so glad he mentioned it! The gallery is fairly small but wonderfully put together with a superb collection of art, jewellery and information. It'll only take you an hour but it is...More

Small, intimate museum with excellent examples of Bill Reid's work in jewelry, graphic art, sculpting, and carving. The special exhibits highlighting local indigenous artists are well-selected and presented with video interviews and insights.
