Rainforest Trail has two routes, A & B, both of which fully engulf you in the temperate rainforest full of gigantic western red cedars and western hemlocks. Sparking a sensation of zen, you will be overcome with the nostalgia of your childhood memories, ready to make more. Scan the upper canopy for birds, listen to the trickle of water and smell the life of this highly productive forest. Trail A is located on the opposite side of the highway from the parking lot. Trail B starts from the parking lot.

There are two loops in the rainforest. The loop opposite the parking lot, at the other side of the street is renovated and nicer compared to the other loop. It will take 20-25 minutes to complete a loop. There are many beautiful trees to see...More

We were amazed by the huge trees, the natural path, the love that seemed to have been put into the rainforest trail. The walks are very easy - but not for wheelchairs - and close to nature. They are about 1km long.

We did this trail when it was windy and raining and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's easy to find, well posted, and mostly on a boardwalk which is very new. The forest was a bit wet in places but full of bird sounds and tree features....More

We only did the B side walk (beach side of the road). Interesting interpretative boards around the sometimes a little rickety boardwalk which takes maybe 45 mins to do if you don't rush. An interesting contrast to tropical rainforest.

We came here the day after it rained over night so the rainforest looked even more spectacular. There are two routes: route A on the north and route B on the south, next to the car park. I recommend doing route A first as it...More

This is a nice hike through the forest. Not the prettiest rain forest I've seen but nice enough. There is a boardwalk and wooden stairs (some steep and none with guard rails on both sides). Some of the wood is newly replaced and some is...More

It's a short drive from Tofino, towards Uqleut. If you go to the visitors centre you can pick up a free map and all locals should be aware of it.
