The cannery was a small community stratified by ethnicity, gender and age. Most worked very hard in tough conditions. Our guide was superb. Informative and entertaining. The guided tour opens up parts of the location that you would otherwise miss. Informative panels are also available....More

We took the public bus from the cruise port to the Cannery. Once there you purchase tickets which include a tour. William, our guide, was excellent in telling stories that brought the site alive. The buildings are well restored and there is a great little...More

Although it was absolutely pouring with rain we found this visit very interesting. You have access to nearly all the buildings that comprised the canning factory and can go round on your own or with a guide.

Lovely facility. Great tour that was led by an awesome tour guide William. He's very knowledgeable,well spoken and expressed a great sense of humor. Truly a wonderful experience.

What a great way to spend an hour or two! So picturesque, so interesting! Loved hearing the stories and seeing the homes of the workers. Excellent tour....informative and entertaining. Well worth the admission price!

I don't believe they are open during the winter...the road is not the best and If I remember correctly it is not maintained during winter months

Yes, there is a city bus from Prince Rupert from May 1st through Sept 30th.

Times are 9-5. Cafe on site. Adults 12 children 8 or a family pass is $25.
