This is the biggest and best park in Prince George The name has been changed. It is now the Lheidli T'enneh Memorial Park. The park includes a performance band shell, playground, water park, picnic areas, volleyball pit, paths and gardens. It is close to Exploration Place and the Little Prince Railway. Unfortunately there is no longer a covered picnic area.

This park is a good place to take the kids to run off steam as there is a good playground, waterpark when weather is warm enough, operating steam engine on special event days (for cost) and a bandshell for special events. The park has plenty of trees for good shade as well as picnic shelters. There are also paved paths... More

My husband's aunt drove us here in the evening, and we explored a bit. It seemed to be a lovely place, and kids would enjoy it. The little school house and train station were closed when we were there.

During our recent stay in Prince George my son and I visited Fort George Park several times. We rode the train and my son loved it. The train us over 100 years old. The engineer was super friendly and spent quite a bit of time showing us the train and telling us about its history. We spent hours at the... More

Fantastic little train to take a ride on. This wood burning steam engine chugs along a narrow gauge track. This Dinkie was built in 1912 and began traveling the tracks in Fort George Park in 1975. Rides cost $1.00 for under 2, $2.50 for 2-18, $3.50 for adults and $2.50 for seniors. Well worth the price and the kids will... More

Very green with a beautiful array of colorful flowers. Paths are easy to walk on. A great playground for children plus a sprinkler water park. A beautiful symphony played on Sunday.

Gorgeous park with many amenities, trails, water park and playground. Even for older kids, something for everyone and it really is great for the entire family.
