Poplar Grove Winery is a boutique winery on the slopes of the Naramata Bench. Poplar Grove began in 1995 as the quintessential garage winery. Our goal is to produce world-class wines from our family-owned estate grown fruit.Currently, we make six estate wines: Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Syrah, and a Bordeaux blend called The Legacy.

A number of years ago we visited Poplar Grove Winery and Cheese shop in a very quaint little place along the Naramata Bench. We had heard that it had expanded and moved and we wanted to see what it was like. This is the only winery that has no flowers, no colour, nothing at all that invites you to come... More

We stopped by the winery for the views and the nice architecture of the wine shop. We were in for a pleasant surprise! The wines were good and the food was amazing. Service was friendly and efficient.

First stop on our first wine tour of the year and of course is was absolutely gorgeous! However, the service was terrible. Snobby and rude. I can't remember the ladies name but every time we had a question about the wine she would give us a sarcastic answer, as if she couldn't believe we didn't already know the answer. Hate... More

Wine taste are personal. Not my favourite. We stopped there for lunch. WOW ! First the patio & the view are amazing. We took the pasta of the day ( with fish) and one of us took a paella. Everything was so tasteful and not that expensive for the quality. Our waitress was very professional and helpful

We wanted to go for wine tasting and lunch afterwards. Instead of some nice discreet music they had the talking (!) of a radio station on the speakers. It wasn't even a special event being broadcasted. It was so loud (in the tasting room and on the patio) that we (and others) left

We just happened upon this winery in Naramata and heaped the best meal at their Vanilla Pod Bistro overlooking Lake Okanagan. Fantastic food, service and view. We would highly recommend going and the Pinot Gris was excellent. I had pasta of the day which was culinary genius with the balsamic reduction and basil cream sauce. Definitely worth stopping in. Enjoy!

The main building is ultra modern/industrial and looks our over a fabulous view. They think an awful lot of themselves! Their wines were more expensive than most others and no better tasting and the restaurant prices ridiculous! Really not impressed.

We met a friend at the restaurant at his suggestion. We had a window seat with a spectacular view. The restaurant is quite small considering the size of the tasting room. what a great find. Not cheap definitely a special dinner night. Highlight was the wines that we ordered. All of our meals deserts were excellent from what I recall... More

We stopped at Poplar Grove for a wine tasting and after seeing the view couldn't pass up having their cheese plate and a drink on the patio. The staff were courteous and friendly, the food was excellent and the view breathtaking. We then did our wine tasting and bought a few bottles on the way out. Definitely recommend stopping here.
