Great view from hill top and hiking
Apr 2021 • Friends
Great point for hiking and capturing some of the awesome views from the hill top. The overall hike is around 6 hours.

A Fabulous Day of Hiking
Mar 2021 • Couples
Not the best day for cycling so we hiked and Geocached instead! Well maintained trestles and tunnels and very picturesque! Disappointed at all the blue poop bags people leave at the side of the road.

Beautiful, but Easy Hike
Oct 2020
Very easy hike as it's all flat! Beautiful trestle bridges with some great photo opportunities! Beware if you head up in late summer/early winter that the temperature drops quite a bit and it is windy so wear an extra layer!

Excellent Bike Trail
Sep 2020
The whole trail is over 11 km between the two stations. Bike is easy. Hiking is actually better to appreciate the whole trail. For partial run, the Myra Station side is better since the area is more open and the Trestles are closer and more frequent. The only disappointed thing are no WC in-between and long gravel road sections leading up to either stations.

Great hike
Oct 2020
After following the 8k dirt access road, we arrived at 8 am to a mostly empty parking lot. It was 2 degrees cooler at the top than in the city. We walked from the Myra Canyon end point to the end of trestle #5 which is just over 6k one way. We crossed 14 trestles and went through the two tunnels. Loved the views! On the way back, we encountered lots of traffic (cyclists and pedestrians) on the way back. We really enjoyed the panels along the path explaining the history of the railway and the path. Kudos to the volunteers who support this.

What an Amazing Hike!
Oct 2020
Despite a winding and bumpy dirt road to the park that would make an astronaut vomit, the Myra Canyon park is worth the ordeal. It is an easy and level hike, and every few kilometers there is a huge train trestle bridge more impressive than the last. It may be tricky to give yourself enough time - as there's so much to do in the Okanagan - but if you do, it will be worth it.

Easy and fascinating ride!
Oct 2020
Easy access off June Spring road. Great cycling along a nearly flat path. Amazing engineering feat and restoration, especially after the 2003 fire. Great way to spend the morning.

Fantastic

Mind blowing views. Easy to walk as it is on a wide paved path. 12 km each way so we only went 6km each way and just turned around. Beautiful views. Lots of bikers but we walked. Highly recommend

Very impressive
Oct 2020 • Couples
The last two days we walked the Myra Canyon (first day from Ruth Station Parking lot and today from Myra Canyon Trestle Parking lot)
The walk yesterday was very nice and the scenery outstanding. The cyclist on both days were very respectfully of the walker.
If you only have one day (one 1/2 day) I recommend start your walk at the Myra Canyon Trestle Parking lot (you can rent a bike there as well)
The walk is very easy and impressive. What the citizens of Kelowna did after the devastating fire in 2003 ( many of the Trestle burned) The view is spectacular down to Kelowna and Lake Okanagan. The reconstructed trestle are impressive and it is very nice to to walk through the tunnels ( 2) and the trestles.
If you are in Kelowna and have free time visit this one
