The displays on the gold rush as well as the native history and the geography are very interesting. There is an excellent 20min film made in 1957 about Dawson which is well worth seeing. It helps to piece together other information gleaned around the town.

The museum has set up a room with an old post office, bank, cabin, etc. that demonstrate the town about 100 years ago. Fascinating.
