Pick up from hotel was on time and Ryan our driver was very knowledgable and enthusiastic about both the wildlife and the environment. Would recommend this trip to anyone who is interested in this topic.

I had previously rafted with on the Fraser (class 3). This trip I was with my two grandchildren (14 and 9) and we did the Athabasca river trip. Luke and Jason were fabulous and each of us had a great time.

Ross Pugh was our guide, and he was the highlight of our trip to the Rockies. He is a Jasper local and has expert knowledge of the wildlife. His commentary was brilliant. Didn't see a huge range of wildlife but that wasn't a problem.

Only glacier tour I’m aware of in the summer is the Athabasca Glacier tour. They drive you onto the glacier via bus, you get walk around on it and bottle some glacier water. If you’re an adventurer, try Yamnuska Adventures... More

Neither of these is a fear for your life adventure. Sunwapta is a little more challenging than the canyon run. Both are good for beginners. You are not likely to end up in the water with either adventure.
