We visited Marmot Basin with our two kids aged 9 & 7. It was a great day enjoyed by all four of us. Our youngest was able to enjoy the green runs, even from the top of the mountain. And our son loved the more challenging runs! What a great experience this was! Staff was very helpful to get us... More

Was introduced to a trail from the top of the know that takes about 45 min. To traverse by the local ski patrol, and I still love this trail a little of the usual beaten path.

Marmot is the hidden gem of the Canadian parks ski areas. With the two high speed chairs at the bottom, the line ups are usually small. They have a wide range of terrain so it fun for novice to experts. They have a major terrain park with smaller ones though out the mountain. The cat crew does a great job... More

A tad expensive for a day pass. The hills were pretty good. Great time to go as there were very few visitors that time of year.

Yeah, look - I love snowboarding, but I'm not very good at it. For my level of "I'm going to go down blue runs, wheeeeee" this place was great. It's not intimidating and, being Jasper, doesn't seem like it gets overrun with people. The cafe is affordable and there are microwaves and lockers there if you want to bring your... More

Marmot is a great ski resort for families. The ski school has great instructor and there is plenty of terrain for newer skiers. Marmot has a down to earth vibe and is a welcoming environment.

I had no idea Marmot Basin was so large! The mid mountain chalet is extensive with lots of options, you can watch skiers from the lounge by a cozy fire place. We spent all day and still did not experience the whole Mountain, we will definitely be back.

I've been coming to Marmot for over 15 years and after trying other ski resorts (in driving distance from Edmonton), Marmot is by far the best. The conditions are great and there is such a great variety of run difficulties. Every chair you do go up, offers an easy way down and they have some really fun and challenging runs.... More
