After a relatively short steep climb through the forest, this hike takes you across the alpine meadows to Wilcox Pass, with breathtaking views of the Columbia Icefield for most of the way. At the pass, take the trail to Wilcox Ridge, a additional kilometer or...More

This 8km r/t hike is a pretty one, with sites of the glacier all along the trail. You get at eye level with the mountain across the highway and when you reach the end, there are hardly any people that you feel like you have...More

We just hike to the first view point where there are two red chairs. It's not difficult to three, but it is is very cold up there, it could be snowing and windy even in June, so prepare gears for the cold weather.

Wow! Excellent views of the glaciers. We chose the hike over the glacier walk and couldn be happier. The trail was pretty steep, so if you have poles, would recommend taking them. Definitely a must see!
