This is the worst time of year for Crystal Lake - the smell is overwhelmingly FOUL. Than starting May the MAY Flies come out in full force. It's more like a Stagnant Slu Stay Away!

The lane swim is aweful. If your gonna swim, make sure you shower after. Duck lice and scurvy. Make sure your shots are up to date.

I had a nice leisurely walk on part of the pathway that goes around the lake. Lots of birds to see and very peaceful away from the city noises. The city streets in this area are in good condition as the area is still new....More
