Whitemud caters to a lot of people, LIttle Bits Therapeutic Riding is one of the main ones, but lessons for all ages are also provided. I actually board my own horse there and the trails around the Centre are so much fun as we meet a lot of people who are usually thrilled to see our horses. Several other events... More

Excellent facility. Neat, clean and very well organized space near the walking trails. What a great place to take the family and check out the horses! Lessons, clinics, volunteer programs and a great program with Little Bits (riding for the handicapped (handi-capable)

I'm from Australia and was shown over the Whitmud Equine Learning Centre by the husband of one of Dr Keillor's granddaughters. Learning the history of this excellent community facility from someone close to the family that made it all possible was indeed a very interesting and enjoyable experience. I hope that all Edmontonians are aware that there probably is no... More

My daughter rides here every week, she loves it especially because it is so convenient. Right now they are building a new arena to replace the current rather cold one.

This location is great, and they do a great job of "little bits" disabled riding school. If you are looking for top competitive riders and horses - its not here. I started out liking the "farmy, neighbourhood" feel - but as I have taken my grandaughter there for rides, I dislike the bossy, stand in line attitude. It does not... More

Whitemud Equine Centre is beautifully located along the North Saskatchewan River and busy Fox Drive. Young and old alike can learn about horses and the the world of equestrians. Major competitive jumping events are held on site and little wee ones can experience horse through the little bits program.

We love watching competitive horse shows, dog shows and Corporate Challenge Bunnock Tournament at these historic show grounds by the North Saskatchewan River. The beautiful horses and athletic riders at the Edmonton Classic, River Valley Horse Show, Tudor Equestrian Summer Series are a credit to Western Canada. There are bleachers and picnic tables around the show grounds, but bring a... More

Whitemud Equine center has a well kept facility. I have not been there often, but I had heard pretty decent things myself about it. However, a girl my age moved to my current boarding facility and I began to question the lesson program there. She told me she had been riding English there for seven years in their lesson program.... More
