Lovely park in the middle or a residential area. Easy walking distance from my daughter's apartment. Spent an hour walking through trails, a few hills here and there, enough to get your heart rate pumping. Lovely trees and brook to walk past as well.

I love these trails. They can be somewhat crowded in the nicer months but that is only because they are very easily accessible and can be used for any kind of activity. There is main trails that are paved which is great for parents with strollers, any body in a wheelchair or large groups (as the trails are wide). There... More

A piece of country in the city. I have seen coyotes in the ravine area and deer as well as countless birds and small critters. It is a walk for poets to stroll and stretch their world weary words as they stop to sit and think on the odd benches scattered along the creek bed.

I love taking my dog for walks through the off leash area. Lots of bush to run around in and explore. Also a nice creek that traverses the trail for them to take a dip. My big complaint is that not all pet owners are responsible at this location and have had to fight off a couple of unsupervised dogs... More

Part of Edmonton's famous beautiful river park area, this weekend la Cite Francophone hosts the flying canoe festival. Come daytime to the City Francophone for the sugarbar, ice slide, music, and more. At night come into the enchanted displays throughout the ravine. Lights, lanterns, music camps, and sled rides are part of the activities. Friday or Sat. there are canoe... More

Mill Creek Ravine park is a popular park for trails: walking biking, picnics, dog friendly, i.e. many people walk their dogs there. There are lovely older & quaint neighbourhoods around it. On the ? north side of the park (closest to the pool), there is a lovely restaurant/coffee shot/cafe/bistro that really "hits the spot" after communing with nature. Walking clubs... More

I love this place and take my dogs here all the time. The bottom unpaved trail is an off leash dog area and is also used as a mountain bike route. The top paved trails are for cyclists, pedestrians and dogs on a leash. There is a creek and an area where dogs can splash around in the water this... More

We love to take our dogs here. They get to run, explore, and even swim. The lower path is like walking in the forest. You can hear the odd sound (siren) but most noise is quite low. Many people walk this path and most people are friendly.

Love this park and off leash opportunity. Great place to walk. Only issue is the City allows cyclists who ride too fast and without regard for safety of walkers. Cyclists also wreak havoc riding through the woods and ruining the park's undergrowth and wildlife habitat. Sad the City does not monitor or license cyclists .

This is my favourite walk in the City. Great for a easy stroll in all seasons. Safe for the children and is dog friendly!
