This is one reason why Calgary is such a great place to live! Great play park, great water park (in the summer), lovely views as you use the walkway around the area. If you're a walker, you could easily spend an afternoon there. When we have visited, we have never had a problem parking, there seems to be a lot... More

Stopped by with the kiddos to see the water park, they had a blast climbing around all the equipment and playing in the water.

South Glenmore Park is part of a walk/bike path loop. this is south side sail boat launch. The sailing school also calls here home. The large parking lot has a covered eat hut, with a pretty complete playground, pretty amazing place. Tennis courts are nestled in the south side of the park just behind the parking lot. Several paths to... More

The "Rez" has been a favorite haunt of mine for years. Whether for a leisurely stroll by Heritage Park or a ride around the Glenmore Reservoir, I love how Calgarians young and old make use of this wonderful park

Beautiful park, gorgeous landscaping, easy to find. Parking a bit limited, but right on bike path. Waterpark and playground so much fun for the kids.

At the edge of Heritage Park, South Glenmore Park is amazing for non-motorized boating. With sailing, paddle boarding, kayaks, canoes, dragon boats and windsurfing, there are plenty of boating options. Rentals range in price and it is well worth the trip. Classes are available and regular meetups as well.

A lovely park area, Calgary seems very blessed by lovely open spaces, with a good size splash park which unfortunately our youngsters were unable to take advantage of as we didn't arrive sufficiently prepared with towels and spare clothing. The park is on the edge of the Glenmore Resevoir and there are lovely walks through the park, overlooking the water.

We visited today to do some beach combing for driftwood - didn't realize there is a shore walking path that heads West from the water park car park, a lovely quiet walk that it seems not many people know about. Great beach combing with interesting pieces of driftwood = successful trip, there's even a few safe beaches for a kid... More

We had a great time there last weekend . You can rent canoes, kayaks and sail boats there . We didn't spend to much time in the actual park , we went to canoe. The boat launch was very accessible and the people were friendly . The rescue came and told us to stay close to the shore line as... More
