This place is an absolute lifesaver. We went to check in for our 12 hour flight to Europe only to find that the company had forgotten to reserve us seats on the connecting flight from Calgary to Chicago. We had seats from Chicago to Europe but could not get to Chicago. We were traveling with 2 young children and although... More

This corner of YYC (Calgary International Airport) is a little gem to fascinate young minds. Interactive displays and rides conjure up ideas of spaceflight and aerial flight. It is an especially good place to hold children's parties (I would guess 4-10 year-olds would be best) as they have a upstairs area dedicated to the kids for hotdogs and birthday cake,... More

Great way to kill time while your waiting for your guests or waiting to take your flight. Lots of hands on stuff to do. Great way for kids to burn off energy

Neat for the kids to do and learn while waiting at the airport. Interesting for the adults to do and learn while waiting for the flight out. Fun for me.

If you have kids and arrive at YYC far too early for your flight, the Space Port will kill at least a half an hour of time. It's not spectacular by any stretch of the imagination, but it's interesting and different enough that it will hold their attention for a while.

Fun for adults and kids. You can experience a flight simulator and info on air and space travel while you wait to depart on your own travels, or while you await the arrival of friends and family at the Calgary airport.

This is just a small, free museum / games arcade in a corner of Calgary Airport so there isn't very much to do. It does, however, fill a few minutes while waiting for your plane (and is more entertainment than most airports have on offer). There is an old fashioned aeroplane you can sit in, a piece of the moon... More
