We attended this ongoing impov soup opera "Degenerate Hospital" not know what to expect but to have a few laughs. We got that and more, with a great performance by all cast members. They make the most out of a small stage and the same props, with an announcer that is on the ball setting the tone and direction/redirection based... More

I saw "Almost a Love Story" .What an amazing play in a cute little spot called Lunchbox Theatre. One of the few venues in Calgary that I am so proud of and will always support.

Having attended Lunchbox Theatre from almost its inception, I can give it a two thumbs up. As the city changed in some ways so has this tradition, but the roots have stayed firmly planted in the idea that people need a short cultural break once in awhile during the lunch hour. Onalea is a gifted Calgary singer, composer, story teller. The latest offering is a story of her grandmother with songs and acting to play out parts of her life. I went with my sisters and we shared this great play. It reminded us very much of our parents and grand parents struggles of pioneering in the prairies. Thanks for sharing... More
