My first visit here was for the Studio Bell After Hours event, a trendy licensed adults only evening complete with DJs and such. My only complaint is that it was too crowded on this night to enjoy all of the many exhibits. I will be going back on a regular day to see the exhibits and the views when it's... More

Studio Bell is a great museum for Canadian music. I brought my son to there twice and purchased a family membership on family day for half price. The architecture is amazing and a great addition of the trendy part of downtown. My son enjoyed the space very much each time. However, without the discounted admission/membership, we wouldn't have come as... More

A very interesting building with moderately interesting exhibits - we joined a short tour which gave us a very good overview of the highlights, then had lunch in the nice cafe and went back round by ourselves. We were there in time for the demonstration of the cinema organ - an awesome display.

Okay, I have to admit that we were not too sure about visiting here but since it was new and we had no plans for this day we thought we would take a chance. We enjoy music but are not big music buffs. What a great decision! We planned our trip to the National Music Center so that we would... More

When looking into going to Studio Bell, I'd seen all recommend a couple hour to be put aside for the experience. I'd agree, if you have kids in tow. As a solo adult taking it in, I'd say an hour/hour and a half would do fine. The interior space is an attraction and the stairwells are truly stunning, and the... More

Recently visited this site for a business event. I was very impressed with the facilities and the curation at the museum. And I am not a musicphile. But anyone with curiosity to learn will find this place impressive. There is a range of collection and preservation galleries around a Canadian and international music and instruments. The hall where they have... More

I took my class to the National Music Centre and it was the best field trip I have been on in my 16 years of field tripping with my class. So many interesting and interactive exhibits. So much fun to record yourself singing or getting a lesson on a piano or guitar. The Theremin was a huge hit! Highly recommended... More

This museum looks great both from the inside and outside, stunning architecture. However, the material displayed is catered to mostly music lovers and appreciaters. Most of the exhibits are about music, music instruments, singers, u get the idea. Im not super into music, so there was not much that i like to see or interested to see/read more about it.... More

The brand new Studio Bell National Music Center is amazing, inside and out. The architecture is lovely to behold, unlike anything I've seen before. Inside, careful attention has been paid to the exhibits and the best use of the space. The public side features exhibits about Canada's music giants, and the private side features recording spaces and classrooms for schools... More

I am so pleased to see a museum of this calibre celebrating Canada's musicians! Awesome display of costumes, musical instruments and history of all of the artists that I grew up listening to! Definitely a must see for the music fan! Lovely little coffee shop with souvenirs etc.
