To me this is a therapeutic garden, because it's indoor and warm, with soft music playing in the background.

One of Calgary's most cherished parks, and its only indoor park, has been experiencing problems ever since a revamp a few years ago. There are a lot of water features and planters full of thirsty tropical plants, and somewhere there's a serious leak. Some of the businesses below had been hit with water, and worse, Calgarians and tourists alike have... More

A beautiful oasis in the middle of all the hustle and bustle of downtown. Lovely plants and beautiful big koi. A great place to sit and think or enjoy a moment of peace and tranquility. It's right next to the food court so lots of people have their lunch there.

I'm sure there were good intentions with the renovation, however it was nicer the layout before. It is mostly green and before it was green and with flowers. Yet I still like to come here because you can have some sense of greenery around you in such a dry area like Calgary.

This is where Calgarians go to eat lunch, listen to live music,...where toddlers learn to take their first steps, young teens go for their first kiss, high school sweethearts get married.

Since the renovation, the Devonian Gardens look like part of a mall food court. Too many texting nannies letting their charges run wild. No longer a place for peace and contemplation

I love this garden all year long but it is my favorite spot when I need a quick Winter scape. Their green walls are stunning and the main one in the back is just gorgeous, the planters are full of tropical plants, the place is well illuminated and humid as a rain forest, they also have a good exposition of... One of the biggest challenges to rebuilding something is that people expect it to be better than the old one. Unfortunately they really dropped the ball on this one. Those of us that we're fortunate to visit the original Devonian Gardens were treated to an incredible forest of plants. The setup had multiple levels and winding paths that you could... More

On the Steven avenue, abundance of shopping, at the walkway suddenly turns into a paradise with thousands of flowers from all around the world, completed with a bridge to get wed on or just enjoy a few minutes during the hard day at work at the office

The Devonian Gardens is a good place to go when the DT core is getting on your nerves. Its generally quite and a good place to feed KOI which is relaxing. Its free the only draw back is that is always seems to be under some kind of construction.
