Attended with a volleyball tournament. This was the speed skating track at the Olympics, now its a multi-use facility. Nice facility.

This is a popular place for public skating; especially for students who are new to skating. Or even a student date. However if you are not a student it is a bit expensive: $9 + $7 for parking.

I attend the World Speed Skating competitions, international and Canadian each year as a volunteer and stay for the races when my shift is done. You are so close to the activity you can hear the skates on the ice.
