My husband and I walked up and down Stephen Avenue a couple of times and enjoyed every minute of it. Mostly a series of restaurants and bars. Almost all have outside seating for maximum opportunity to observe the street drama. Excellent nachos at The Unicorn!

We were visiting from Toronto and so very much enjoyed Calgary's beautiful buildings and high end shopping and eating but on a smaller scale than Toronto, that also proved to be such a positive upbeat atmosphere and excerience. The day we visited was pre-Canada Day...More

You can find everything you need on Stephen Ave. We were there during the stampede and they had live entertainment and vendors lining the street. There are plenty of restaurants and bars to meet your needs, plus shopping.

Visiting Calgary and went downtown to visit the sights. Family members recommended a walk along Stephen Avenue. As we were there just before Stampede, the atmosphere during the day was buzzing. Lots of Calgarians dressed in jeans, checked shirts and Stetson hats. Even the restaurants...More

Yeah, there is abundant parking downtown, very close to Stephen Ave. esp. on weekends; even affordable parking on weekdays with the economic downturn. Pretty much everything you need to know is found if you google search... More

Plenty to choose from , popular Tim Hortons to upmarket restaurants. Most buildings have their own food court , Bankers hall is the one I visited regularly , its worth a visit.
