Christmas Time is always very special and that sets you back into Victorian ages when style was not running shoes, baseball caps and T-Shirts. Very classical, warm and freindly staff, not recommended for small children.

We went for Sunday Brunch, it was delicious. Great quality of food for the prices. We had eggs benedict with crab and vegetarian and they were incredible. Very fresh and vibrant, beautiful plating. Our service was great too.

Great place to visit especially when the weather is cold. There is lots of history on how Calgary began and the family that made it possible. Glad we were able to make the time to visit and lucky that a guide was available to give us a tour. Part of the house is a restaurant - only open for lunch... More

The restaurant is old fashioned as is the food choices. Ears are very good. The museum is mist interesting as are the stories of the volunteers. Cute gift shop downstairs.

I've been to the Lougheed house many times. I like to go in the summer when all of the flowers are in bloom. There is lots of history so it is cool to spend some time wondering around inside and reading all the plaques.

Great place. We had a guided tour from a lovely gentlemen (Bill) who in his own personal experience encompassed a large portion of Alberta's history. Our girls enjoyed the experience and the interaction. Great little gift shop with antique style doilies, needlework etc. I have attached an image of one the beautiful hinges on the door.

Get way from the crowds on a winter day to tour a piece of Alberta history. This is a small, lovely museum that gives you a glimpse into another way of life. Stop for a bite to eat in the cafe or browse the gift shop for a unique item.

we were a group of 40. We had the whole house to ourselves. We were all greeted at the door - ushered to the coat check area then allowed to go to the piano area for appetizers and drinks all while looking at the wonderful Victorian House and its Christmas decorations (very tasteful). We had wonderful appetizers - the mushroom... More
