The gondola ride itself was fine- the try up took about 5 minutes, with a choice of enclosed gondolas or open chairs. It was a shame that the walks at the top of the ride were closed, and no restaurants were open. The view though...More

Cheaper alternative to the Banff Gondola. Views of Lake Louise from the summit. Keep your eyes out for wildlife!

We were lucky to have a beautiful, clear day to take a ride in the gondola. There is little to do at the top, except enjoy the view and take photos, but, the view is breathtaking. Unfortunately, Lake Louise was still snow-covered, so we missed...More

You should only do this for the view. Make sure you go on a clear day. There isn’t anything to do at the top and it is a bit pricey for the ride up and back.

Don't ski? Go for the Foot Pass to ride up the mountain for spectacular views of the Canadian Rockies and Lake Louise. We enjoyed the magnificent vistas and friendly Canadians offered to take our photo with a Lake Louise background.
