We went in a gondola instead of the chair lift, but I would have liked to have experienced the life as well. We visited in June when there was no skiing, but it was still a fun time nonetheless. It's a nice 15-minute ride up,...More

It was a nice relaxing ride. Recommend open seating. The view going towards Lake Louise was the best. Wish you could sit and enjoy once up to top but not a lot of seating. There's a restaurant there too but we didn't walk down to...More

Gondola ride up is breathtaking, we were here while there were bush fires around so a bit smoky but even that didn't matter as you could still get great views. Had a drink at the top bar overlooking Lake Louise then took the chair lift...More

They start & finish at the same place with the same ticket & I was very brave (though it's not scary) and went up on the open ski lift, maybe wait till you get there & see how the weather is? I think you get...More

You can to choose either taking the chairlift (no barrier) or the gondola. We took the chairlift as it's most exciting. Nice and breezy ride up. Takes about 10-15 mins. On the top, you should hike up the mountain when u can take the kicking...More

The Lake Louise Sightseeing Gondola ride was great and one of the longest gondola rides I have been on. We didn't see any bears but they had been seeing them most days. There were lots of mosquitoes up top as there are everywhere around the...More

We took this gondola on a semi-cloudy morning, so it is probably much better views on a clear day. No luck seeing any bears. Also, you don't go all the way to the top, and when you get off, you have a quarter mile walk...More

My husband had to see a grizzly during our West Coast vacation, so we used the $5 x 4 coupons and got a pretty good deal on the gondola. The power had gone out the day before so no gondola, so we made time the...More

The view is amazing looking back to Lake Louise nestling among the snow peeked mountains, but, don't forget to look down because you could be as lucky as we were and see a mother grizzly and her cubs. This was our first full day in...More

It was unusually warm when we went, but we were there at 8am, so we sorta beat the heat and clearly beat the crowds. Their calendar posts daily grizzly sightings, which are probably by staff very early in the morning?? Perhaps we were just not...More

Hi, To the best of my knowledge, I don't recall getting priority in line. There was one line that forms. The advantage is that you don't have to stand in the ticket line on site. :)
