Moraine Lake is always busy, but that's because it's such a beautiful place. The hike up the Rockpile isn't too strenuous and you're rewarded with the best view from the top. The water looks best when photographed from above. It's difficult to get into during...More

Moraine is definitely more beautiful than Lake Louise for the peaks. Though it’s hard to compare the lakes in this region, but you must do this along with Lake Louise and Lake Peyto without fail.

This is one of the most famous lakes in BC, beautiful and picture-perfect, with plenty of easy hiking opportunities which contribute to dispersing the crowds and making it less crowded than Lake Louise. If you visit western Canada, you must stop here.

Moraine Lake was a really little gem which was a real delight. A lovely little lake that has a resort attached along with a gift shop and restaurant. You can canoe, walk or just enjoy the spectacular view. We even saw a wedding there!

This place is breathtaking. The walk up the path to the top of the rocks isn’t hard. It’s well worth the little trek up for the views that you get. The colour of the lake is just stunning! I loved it.

What a spectacular sight of a frozen Lake Moraine surrounded by snow capped Ten Peaks mountains on a warm day in late May. The carpark struggles to cater for all the visitors so be prepared to be refused entry back at the Lake Louise Road...More

The nicest view ever. Better than Lake Louise. The water is really emerald n the view from the rock pile is simply great. Just note that the trail starts behind the rock pile. You do not need to climb up the rocks to get up...

We arrived at about 9am (in May just few days after the road opening) and the parking lot was half empty so probably getting there early during the busiest months. We took on the shoreline lake trail which was the only one opened because of...More

If you are talking about the national park pass then yes you can go to the park. I would recommend to get the year pass if you plan on going to more than one park, it is easier than getting a pass for each day. You could... More
