We were staying in Lake Louise village so visited here about 6.00pm in the evening and its uncrowded at that time of day and you can easily get a park. We arrived early afternoon into Lake Louise area and the road to Moraine Lake was...More

So beautiful even on a day when skies were full of smoke from forest fires. This is a must stop. Trails were not well-marked so we were a bit confused about which way to go for lake trail. And couldn't get over all the people...More

A strange contrast to Lake Louise, Moraine Lake has quite an intimidating feel to it, with its rocky scree slopes and moraine piles. Not the kind of place you'd want to be on a dark night on your own! But fascinating, nevertheless. And if you're...More

I'm not usually super taken by scenery but this was one of the best places we stopped to look around in the whole of Canada. Magnificent scenery.

Beautiful scenery. Good parking but may have to park on road during holidays as it gets very busy. Worth the climb to the viewpoints for better views of lake. Food, shop etc available

In all likelihood you are confusing the two 'M' lakes, Moraine & Maligne (near Jasper), or possibly a third 'M' lake, Minnewanka (nearer to the town of Bannf). Minnewanka & Maligne both have cruises, but Moraine does not... More

Yes, no problem! It's not that hard to paddle around, you'll have enough time to see the lake.
