I visited Lake Agnes coming down from the Big Beehive (I had gone up from the other side). The lake definitely draws a crowd, as not everyone climbs beyond it, and there's a Tea House with refreshments. It's nice as a resting point, but doesn't...More

Pack some tea and sandwiches - walk to Agnes, stop for more tea, then hike up the big beehive - its not that far and it is so worth it - you can see Lake Louise from the top!

Great walk, superb views, lovely cafe with good food and friendly staff. They may just ask you to take a bag of rubbish away with you though!

We got to Lake Louise around 8:30am and the car park was filling quickly. You’ll see hundreds of people trying the get ‘that one shot’ selfie at the lakeside, so it can take time to navigate through the crowd. My advice is walk around the...More

The hike up to the lake is steep though really a beautiful place. There was a paved section near the bottom of the trail, but the trail becomes natural and progresses in elevation fairly quickly. It is well worth the effort, in a magnificent area...More

Beautiful vistas. Trail can be steep in parts but we're in our '60s and didn't have a problem. Tea House very busy but good for a hot chocolate and snack.
