A very busy place! Picture perfect views. We caught the shuttle bus from the village and walked back along the creek to the village.

We got there early in the morning and parking was already full, so we took the shuttle from the overflow parking and it worked out nicely. The lake is nice, the trails are easy accessible and it is definitely worth the trip.

Pictures really do not reflect the beauty of this lake. Nice visit, but it was so crowded. However, I'm glad that we were on a tour bus.

Hi Annette ... There are canoe rentals at the boathouse on the west shore of the lake. However, life jackets are a must when you are canoeing, especially with children. It is a great experience, but I would ask at the... More
