It was a great experience for the whole family to canoe in the lake. We also hiked around it. The weather and the atmospher were perfect.

Stopped here in the middle of a road trip to stretch our legs- it was a bit out of our way but worth the detour. The lake is very very beautiful - the camera was definitely needed. It was extremely busy though and it was difficult to find a parking space. It's obviously a very popular tourist attraction, and it's... More

It is so hard to get a parking spot and we spent about an hour trying to do just that, the place is packed with people , its so hard to even take a picture . The lake is beautiful but for me Peyto and Moraine are the most beautiful lakes and Lake louise is highly overrated.

Lake Louise is one of biggest tourist area, this place is normally always busy however the views are totally worth it. During summer you can canoe or kayak across the lake which is awesome. Lake Louise is well known for bears so always travel in groups of four and stick to the trails. Don't want to start disturbing the animals!... More

An amazingly breathtaking view, The place can get crowded during the day, and parking might be a bit tricky as a result. As a seasoned traveller, I can honestly say, this is probably the best view I have seen i my life! Well worth a visit and highly recommended!

While staying at the Chateau Lake Louise we walked around the crystal clear lake. The walk around is good for people with strollers. There are hikes up the mountain up to the Tea House ( not for strollers). You can canoe as well.

If you're visiting Banff or the surrounding areas then this place is definitely worth a visit. We stayed in Banff at banff ave B&B (highly recommended), it took us around 1hr to get up to Lake Louise via Bow valley park way. The drive down bow valley parkway is really scenic and you may see some wildlife if you're lucky... More

Visit to lake Louise is quite easy. You have lots of parking space and from parking there is not much walk to the lake. Lake is beautiful as it can be and mountains around it makes it even more beautiful. Great place to do photo shoot as well. Go for it!

WOW! The view here is beyond beautiful and the hikes around the lake is simple. There are more difficult hikes around the lake, but none of which are too difficult. They are all well worth the views!
