We loved the hike. There is some parking near the trailhead. Hike is all uphill and slightly above moderate grade. Great views throughout the hike and at the summit.

The trails are very quite away from traffic, lots of options on left and elevation changes. So great views and spots to stop for pictures.

This is a great hike! One of the best things is that it is so close to Banff. Just head stright out towards the mountain and you'll find the trail.

WE saw two moose and two deer on our way to view the Bow river and Hoodoos. Short drive and a walk for beautiful time with mother nature

Initially I signed up for a tour, but got to Banff early enough and ventured out on my own. Extremely well-marked and safe trail - a bit steep in parts but well kept. Breathtaking views of Banff, Bow River, and surrounding mountains.

Bring comfortable footwear, and a bottle of water, you'll want it. If you're a couch potato like me, take your time, a few rest breaks along the way won't hurt. After climbing for 30-40 mins, the views are great, overlooking the river on one side,...More
