There is nothing natural about these springs, it is basically a large hot tub set just outside a 70s looking building . it had no natural spring water in it , but loads of chlorine !! , this was confirmed by reception . Save your money and sit in your hotel hot tub, probably nicer and less people

This pool is located closer to Banff Gondola, and Cave and Basin National Historic Site, which is worth to visit. My feeling of this hot springs is similar to a hot water swimming pool, but it is a good option to relax after a long day. The view of this hot spring is surround by different mountains, which makes me... More

Coming here was definitely worth it, and was only about 10 dollars for two people. I would recommend going later at night, after the sun has set. We went at about 7:00 at night, and it was quite busy still. However, at around 8:00 the sun began to set and people started to leave. It also started to cool off... More

We have been to the hot springs many times and always enjoyed the experience. The last two times (November and March), we had the unpleasant experience of having faeces in the water. Whereas we do understand that these things happen (most of the time an accident, but sometimes on purpose), we were disappointed with staff reaction. We did not observe... More

Drove to the hot springs in early afternoon. Parking lot was very full and we followed a long line of people to the check-in. However the check-in process was fast and efficient and we were inside within 15 minutes. The hot springs themselves were relaxing and enjoyable. Clean change rooms and facilities. Great family stop over destination and priced very... More

Nice place to relax and unwind with a beautiful view of Mt. Rundal. Cost was about 25 dollars for a family of four. We got there about 7ish in the evening and found it was busy but not over crowded. Temperature was nice and definitely enjoyed our visit. We stayed about an hour, and in that time we found it... More

We came to the hot springs twice during our stay and we wish it was more. Staff was friendly and the pool, so relaxing. The facilities were well maintained and although it seems in need of an update, no one seemed to mind. Very relaxing after a ling day of shopping and activities. It even snowed the second time we... I wouldnt recommend here as its just a large heated swimming pool. After visiting the Blue Lagoon in Iceland I thought this would be something similar to that but was very dissapointed.

We had free tickets to Banff Upper Hot Springs with our Tri Area lift tickets. We visited on our last evening. I could have fallen asleep in the pool it was so relaxing. Easy drive from town, easy parking, large locker/changing rooms, beautiful views. A "must" on a trip to Banff.

We visited the hot springs around 11am based on other reviews that it gets busier later in the day. There was maybe only 30 people total in hot tub which was great lots of room to navigate around. I agree with other reviewers that it is essentially a large hot pool and overall it's abit run down looking but for... More
