WE could only look out and gaze at the snow covered meadows but this would be an amazing area to hike

This is a nice resort, and close to the the town of Banff. Great views, very open terrain. However, the terrain caters more to Beginners/Intermediate skiers and riders. There are some more expert areas (The Dive, etc.) but it's more of a family friendly mountain...More

I didn't ski, but entertained myself by riding the gondola round trip. This requires a lift ticket. But it was well worth it. The view of the mountains is fantastic.

A great hike and beautiful vistas to boot. We had quite a bit of snow on the trail but it only made the scenery even better with the Larch trees in full golden yellow mode. Rock Isle Lake really is a gem.

Our group of twelve ranged in age from 11 to 73 and we thought a guided tour of Sunshine Meadow would be a good group activity. And, other than meals, it turned out to be the only time we would all be together in the...More

An unexpected September snowfall made our visit to Sunshine all the better. We caught the bus up the mountain from the ticket office (the main gondola doesn't run during Sept so the initial trip up the first section of the mountain is by bus) and...More

After skiing at Sunshine Village all Winter it was so great to go hiking up there and see what lies beneath all the snow. It is well worth the trip up. We went on the last day of the Summer/Fall season so took the shuttle...More

We purchased a Groupon for the Sunshine Meadows gondola and drove there from Calgary last June. The hiking was superb! Since the Meadows is a winter-time ski resort, there was plenty of parking available. There was no... More
