Magnificent building, from the outside. It was closed and locked when we were there, found it difficult to find out when it would be open again, think we would have had a 3 hour wait so unfortunately we cannot rate the inside. Disappointed.

This is a large church, more like a cathedral. It can been seen from the motorway when entering Velez Rubio. It is beautifully decorated and well worth a visit.

Once inside this church you felt emotional, as it's just so beautiful inside. once we finished looking inside we were able to walk to the restaurant for lunch.. There are restaurants in very close proximity.

Beautiful church. Try to go out of holy hours to experience 'lighting up the altar' @ €1 - box at the side.

If you're a fan of churches then dpo pop inside this little beauty! Located on a plaza alongside a couple of decent bars, this church is very pretty inside. Obviously remember to be respectfully quiet when inside - but you are encouraged to take photos....More

Well worth a visit if like me, you love to visit a church. Absolutely stunning inside, with many fine alters and statues. Such a wonderful atmosphere. If you're religious or not, make sure you go and see this 16th Century Baroq masterpiece.
