The overall experience is good, however quite too long of the same scenary, and the cascades walk they offer is poorly organized - bathroom were a disaster.

This is a fun activity to do in Quimbaya. The people in the agency are really friendly and helpful and the lunch offered is great. The guides are also very nice and the few hours spent on the river are super fun. Recommended

Very safe and responsible staff. Very relaxing yet adventurous. They float you down a lazy river to a rest stop where you get lunch and have the option to hike or take a horse to see the waterfall in the mountains. Highly recommended!

We did this trip with my kids and they loved it. It was definitely something they had never experience before. They swan down the river most of the time along with the tour guides. We also had the opportunity to visit the waterfall which was also amazing but very cold. The lunch that was provided was delicious, I can believe they can put so much food in a leaf lol. I will recommend this trip to any one who comes to the Quindío. This was experience was amazing!!!!

We had a great time at the balsas. Por guess we're nice, lunch was great and we had a lot of fun swimming by the boat, going down rapids and chilling out on the boat. We got to see a lot of wildlife and stunning landscapes

Great relaxing day!

We spend the day on the raft with a group of friends. It was wonderfull. The sights were amazing and there were lots of places to swim in the water. On top of that a hike brought you to a beautifull hidden waterfall for only 2000 pesos extra per person. Furthermore lunch and coffee were provided and transportation from quimbaya square with a jeep was also included.

A great way to spend a day on the river

Absolutely beautiful location on the river, with very friendly guides on the raft. Lots of opportunities to swim and hang out in the water, and a mini hike to a massive waterfall. Tasty chicken rice lunch pack, and some coffee on the water- we had a great time. Expect to drift for about 4-5 hours.

As a first time "rafter" this attraction was terrific for me and my friends. We were picked up by a jeep, apparently this is a common mode of transport. We piled in, and we were really close to each other, but now-a-days we tend to be more social; so that was ok. We signed some waivers, which seems like a technicality, stopped at a little store then we arrived within 20 minutes from Quimbaya to the river. We bought a couple of beers at the store and that was a great idea. Happy they didn't sell liquor on the raft, as having intoxicated passengers could be a problem. Bring water to drink.

We stored our electronics and passports ect in a barrel in back So they all kept dry, but we were able to take them out for pics. Life jackets were a requirement for entering the water. The guides were the best. Very friendly and really knew the river. We had a blast jumping in and allowing the river to take us. You should be able to swim, if you can't then you can get pretty banged up, as you need to be able to maneuver the rapids. You need to lie on your back, go head first and keep your bum up. One guy didn't know how to swim and bumped up and rolled against the rocks. He was a little shaken up. I was in the rapids with a 10 year old who had no problems at all in the rapids, but she was a synchronize swimmer.

Lunch was provided and was excellent. It was a colombian tamale. Soda was provided too. At the end of the trip, our guide Cucaracho gave us coffee, it hit the spot. I really enjoyed the rafting. At the end of the trip we were dropped off at a sort of cement gathering area. My sandals were packed with the cement like material and had to wash them off. They had bathrooms and showers, they were marginal.

Cucaracho and his fellow guide were the best, they helped us out of the water by pulling us up by the life jacket, that was fun for us but work for them. These guys really worked hard. They coached us and told us when to get in the water and out. Cucaracho jumped in to help us maneuver the rapids. Had a terrific time. Will go again!
