A lovely little town with a medieval street pattern and a very interesting set of market traders to peruse, easy parking on the periphery, plenty of nice buildings to observe as well.

What a big market. Busy even in the off season. The town is very interesting to walk around even if there wasn't a market. There are lots of free parking areas. I would say the first group of players arrive about 9-10. Then more about...More

This has got to be the best market around. The stalls fill all the small streets and the atmosphere is great. Food, gifts, jewellery, clothing, shoes, plants etc etc etc. Plenty of free parking around the village. Great fun and not to be missed. Only negative.........More

A very nice place to purchase or just admire local ingredients from farmers and small producers. From bread to fruits, vegetables, meat and cheese!

Issigeac A fine example of a well maintained medieval village with architecture and character, houses and streets to explore, admiring the details on the houses, and the numerous half-timbered properties. The Sunday morning market in Issigeac is a popular place to buy and try many...More

Fortunately I had seen s previous review about crowds, so we rose early and were there by 9am. Parking was easy. By 11am it was heaving and people were parking everywhere. Advice....get there early.

The first traders start setting up at about 6 am. With narrow streets they have to get their vans in and out before the next in can set up. So some are ready to take your money by 7.30
