The beach was sandy (never stepped on a rock while in the water) and they had people cleaning up the woody debris to make it easier to walk out to the surf. The surf was unpredictable across days, where one day it was fun to...More

Not a nice beach to walk on as on a steep slope and sand very coarse. Lots of sting rays and saw several people getting treatment for injuries

Long stretches of beautiful pristine Beach. One can walk for miles..... Highly recommend. Good for families, couples, and groups of friends (not for wild Spring breakers ).

I've walked at night with friends and never felt unsafe. That said we have been advised by locals not to walk at night and to take cabs which are safer.

We've snorkeled at Los Caletas and Marietas Island on tours. They were OK. Not as spectacular as Hawaii or other areas we've snorkeled, but the water is clear and you can see fish and rock formations.
