Sandy beach, easily wakable and water is warm

Walked this beach most mornings, Easy to walk and feel very safe. At low tide lots of smaller fish and crab are visible. Note, on hot days the sand away from the water can... read more

Although billed as powder white sand beaches, the beach is actually a brownish, black-gold sand that glistens in the surf. If beach walking is your thing, you can walk a few miles uninterrupted. North along the beach from the Paradise Village resort is a sea-turtle refuge where you can see the efforts of the locals and beach walkers to save... More

We are usually at the grand Mayan in Nuevo. The beach is not great. It can have allot of rubbish that has washed in shore and broken glass etc .. the sunsets are amazing though .

The water color is grey/brown and has a sewage odor. You have to shower really well afterwards to get the smell off! I went running on the beach Friday morning around 7:30 am and there were a bunch of dead fish and even huge turtle on the beach. Obviously the worker didn’t have a chance to clean up the beach... A long sandy beach, great for walking, or just relaxing and playing in the sea. Wear beach shoes in the water because there are rays and sea snakes.

The water was warm and the waves were perfect. Great for bogey boarding . Sand castles were made daily and the little ones could not get out of the water.

The beach is not bad; but I have seen better; but not in Mexico. Water is dark and the sand was hurting my feet. I am a bit sensitive though; bring beach shoes.
