So you will have plenty of options in this valley. Haizi valley is one of the three valleys/parks at Mount Siguniang. You can do a 2-3 hour hiking in the park just to the mountain ridge to see the great views of Mount Siguniang itself. Or you can have a multi-day trekking to the summit of Dafeng or Erfeng of... It took 6 hours by bus to reach Siguniangshan from Chádiànzi long distance bus station in Chengdu. The journey there was very enjoyable as it goes over a 4200 metre mountain pass with fantastic views. Siguniangshan has three main valleys all within easy reach from Siguniangshan town. (Formerly Rilong) The Changping Valley starts from the town. The Haizi Valley is... More

The area is truly amazing with stunning views of snow mountains, glaciers, and to some extent untouched nature. Unfortunately the park administration has made it mandatory for multi-day hikes to hire a guide. The three gates provide three different experiences, Changping and Haizugo are reached from Rilong town, being the deep valley, Changping, and the ridge above, Haizugo. On clear days Haizugo ridge has tremendous views of the parks main feature, the awesome... More

I've personally traveled to some big mountains in western part of Sichuan. Peaks at Mount Siguanniang are amazingly more beautiful than I thought. It is basically three valleys stretching north from the small town Rilong, a place used as a supply and overnight stop for many travelers and one day's drive from Chengdu (it used to be a half day's... Beautiful mountains and beautiful scenery! Our favorite place in china! You really get to experience the nature of china! We took a trip with a Chinese group from Chengdu and the entire ride we were looking out the window and saw such beautiful sites, greenery, mountains and natural creations. It was an incredible experience! When we went it was really... More
