I have had the privilege of traveling to Mulege, which, in my opinion, is the pride of the Bay of Concepcion, since the early 1970's. My childhood memories of white-sand beaches and crystal clear waters dotted with uninhabited islands remained intact during my last visit...More

Beautiful beaches! We were the only ones there. There are little huts that provide shade for beach-goers. Some men came around and collected money for them.

No place in the Bahia is a bad place. Take a couple of days and explore the beaches. Santispac is a great one for camping. By may the the heat is on but the cool breeze from the ocean is awesome. Take snorkel gear and...More

The bay has calm crystal clear waters that are perfect for snorkelling or relaxing along the numerous beaches that can be accessed by road or boat.

Simply driving north along the Bahia Concepcion provides for gorgeous views. Stopping along the way and enjoying the beaches filled with shells and the warm calm waters is icing on the cake. Wish we would have had more time to enjoy this part of Baja.

We had a great time visiting the Bahia. We even took out a private boat and found our own private island for the day. I also did some fishing from the shore and caught some barracuda, lisas and trigger fish. There is also some great...More

By far, the best beaches to camp at are: Santispac and El Coyote! Be careful of Escondida; it's easy to get stuck in the deep sand there. If you visit any of the Bahia Conception beaches, please pitch in with picking up after your dog,...More

The man who is the boat driver, (do you drive a boat?), has lived here all his life. This time we didn't see any whale sharks, because there weren't any around. Cheecho is his name, and his phone number is: 615-153- 0101. He dove for...More

Concepcion is a perfect area for kayaking to small islands to see blue footed boobies, brown pelicans, ospreys and 100s of jumping dolphins!

Not sure. We will be going back in January as well. I think water is pretty cool most of the time.

I am not sure what options are available out of Mulege. We did a snorkel trip out of La Paz. The whale sharks were in abundance! Definitely a cool adventure!
